World-renowned spiritual and social leader, author, and Benedictine nun, Sister Joan Chittister, will be speaking at Trinity Episcopal Church, drawing on the themes in her book, The Time is Now: A Call to Uncommon Courage (2019).

Pairing scriptural insights with stirring narratives of the truth-tellers that came before us, Sister Joan offers a compelling vision to combat complacency and to propel all of us toward creating a world of justice, freedom, peace, and empowerment. For the weary, the cranky, and the fearful, this energizing message invites us to participate in a vision for a world greater than the one we find ourselves in today. This is spirituality in action; this is practical and powerful activism for our times.

Books will be sold at the event, with a book signing following the presentation.

Tickets are $30 and are available for purchase online.
