Keao NeSmith, PHD is a teacher of Hawaiin language at Hawai'i Prepatory Academy (hpa.edu) and also an independent researcher, consultant, writer, and translator. He has been involved in various capacities in the Hawaiin language revival prohect since the early '90s and has taught Hawaiin language and subjects in Hawaiian and Polynesian Studies at various universities in new Zeland, French Polynesia, and the Hawaiian Kingdom. Dr. NeSmith was the official Hawaiian translator for numerous literary works including The Hobbit, The little Prince, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and the Harry Potter series.
